  • The purpose of the Vice President Business Development role is to lead and drive the profitable growth of

    TAPFIN. The VP, Business Development develops and operationalizes the sales strategy and enables performance of sales teams.

    Making an Impact

    • Sales strategy - Develop sales plan for new logo annual targets, utilizing market trend research and ManpowerGroup goals. Provide guidance on attainable sales to inform annual budget process.

    • Team leadership - lead a team of 4-8 individuals responsible for closing TAPFIN sales. Onboard and coach team members to be able to meet their sales quotas.

    • Pipeline management - Use available marketing and sales support to build pipeline to be able to support sales targets. Ensure team members are managing their pipelines effectively and updating reporting resources (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics)

    • Go-to-market approach - Evaluate and evolve sales and presentation approach to ensure relevance in the market and improve win probabilities. Determine approach for multi-brand solutions, as well as multi-country solutions.

    • Alliance management - Manage strategic partnerships in support of sales activity, such as VMS partners, tech providers and suppliers.

    Sharing Expertise

    • Provide leadership guidance on current trends in MSP and VMS.

    • Provide guidance on how to incorporate multiple ManpowerGroup brands or LOBs into solutions

    • Stay current in CWS field and emerging service offerings in the market.

    • Be able to represent TAPFIN and/or ManpowerGroup in industry leadership events through speaking engagements, publishing and social media.

    Gaining Exposure

    • Participate in in key industry events as attendant and/or speaker.

    • Create opportunities to meet key industry leaders, e.g., client CPOs.

    • Align internal resources to facilitate SME expertise on presentations and bids, as well as transitioning from verbal agreement to contracting and implementation.

    Your Typical Day

    • Team coaching to attain quota goals, pipeline reviews and MSD compliance

    • Client meeting prep and presentations

    • Strategy development and execution

    • Strategic initiatives with key industry partners

    • Managing internal communications and engagement with broader TAPFIN leadership team

    Other accountabilities as assigned

    Qualifications - External

    Required

    • Sales: 7 years of experience in contingent workforce sales as individual contributor

    • Track record of routinely meeting or exceeding sales quotas

    • Expansive understanding of the MSP and VMS landscape

    • Demonstrated understanding of contingent workforce trends and common innovative tools and strategies for delivering world-class contingent workforce solutions

    • Management: 5 years management of sales individuals and sales support resources

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

    Nice to Have

    • Experience working in a global matrixed environment

    • Established network/relationships in the MSP and VMS industry
