Veterinary Assistants Needed

We are seeking Veterinary Assistants to join our growing team. VCA Stoney Creek Animal Hospital is a six doctor general practice that also provides boarding and daycare. Our team at VCA Stoney Creek enjoys having fun together. There's a lot of laughter and comradery that helps make this an enjoyable atmosphere. We are all here because we love pets and want to give them the best care that we can. Staff appreciation is something that happens regularly, not just on a certain week a year. The successful candidate will be a believer in the possibilities of high-quality veterinary medicine and patient care-with the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen. In this position you will be supporting our Doctors and Technician team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients.

Duties will include but not limited to

• Maintaining medical records.

• Preparing surgical suite and surgical patients.

• Filling prescriptions.

• Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.

• Providing compassionate care and a home away from home for boarded and hospitalized pets.
