  • Eaton's AER FMC Fuel Motion Control Systems division is currently seeking a Training Analyst. This position is an onsite role, and is located at our Euclid, OH facility. This position is eligible for our 9-80 schedule (Every other Friday off)!

    The Euclid facility has approximately 325 employees and is a leader in the design, development, manufacture and delivery of aerospace main engine fuel pumps and components, systems and services to the global aftermarket and OEM markets.

    The expected annual salary range for this role is $80250.03 - $117700.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

    What you'll do:

    The Training Analyst assists in the leadership, administration and coordination of the site's training program and processes to assure the organization develops and realizes the full potential of the workforce in support of the business strategic plans and the pursuit of business excellence. This role will be responsible for leading a team of trainers to accelerate, sustain, and improve new hire training and cross training.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Partner with operations, quality, EHS and engineering to update and maintain documentation and knowledge materials including on-the-job training documents, work instructions, cross-training and skill matrix(ces), etc. in compliance with internal procedures, AS9100, Nadcap and other quality standards. (25%)

    • Support new hire training by formulating a training plan, preparing and maintain training documents, scheduling presentations and classes, facilitating training including classroom and hands-on, and provide any re-training that may be required. (25%)

    • Assess progress made by trainee and provide feedback through frequent check-ins with trainer, trainee, front line leader and human resources business partner. (20%)

    • Maintain a pulse on changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives, workforce planning and technologies to ensure the training program aligns. (10%)

    • Develop and/or assist in the development of training via presentations, videos, or any other mechanism for delivering information. (5%)

    • Conduct regular audits and collect feedback from employees to ensure training materials are effective and relevant. (5%)

    • Partner with human resources to effectively align the training program with any rewards or compensation programs. (5%)

    • Complete continuous improvement projects in support of the training program as needed. (5%)

    Qualifications:

    Required Qualifications:

    • Highschool Diploma or GED (General Education Degree)

    • Two (2)+ years of experience working in a training related role within a manufacturing environment. (Ex. Team Lead, Supervisor, Training Coordinator, Etc.)

    • Two (2)+ years of experience utilizing Windows-based software (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)

    • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

    • Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

    • No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate Cleveland area (50 miles) will be considered for this position.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Associate degree or bachelor's degree from an accredited university

    • Minimum of two (2) years of professional training experience.

    • Minimum of one (1) year of experience deploying learning and training objectives.

    Skills:

    • Ability to read, understand and comply with, and effectively communicate to others requirements on prints, technical documents, test procedures and work instructions.

    • Identifying the developmental needs of others and coaching, mentoring, or otherwise helping others to improve their knowledge or skills.

    • Ability to conduct needs analysis as part of the site training cycle.

    • Ability to design and implement training objectives.

    • Ability to evaluate performance of individuals and quality of training and make adjustments as needed to deliver training to employees that results in long term retention and transfer to the production floor.

    • Knowledge of principles and procedures related to HR activities, including: Recruitment, Onboarding, Training, Compensation, Employee Relations, and Personnel Information Systems.

    • Ability to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and at times influence others to drive training objectives.
