  • Job Description

    Be a part of a small team responsible for designing, installing, implementing, and maintaining a multi faceted network infrastructure with strict security, fault tolerance and availability requirements. Areas

    of involvement include rack level, data center, and transport layers. Most work is performed on-site at

    the Fairfax location, but some travel may be required to the Denver location. This is in support of all in

    house networks located at both Fairfax and Denver locations

    Skills and Requirements

    Technical Requirements

    Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience in network implementation and maintenance

    Proficiency with Cisco and HP networking devices

    Proficiency with multiple network protocols, to include, TCP/IP, IPv4, UDP (and multicast), TLS, VPLS,

    GRE

    Experience configuring, maintaining, or troubleshooting:

    o Routing Protocols (i.e. OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP).

    o Virtual LAN's and Trunking (VLAN's).

    o Local Area Network (LAN) and/or Wide Area Network (WAN).

    o Network Controlled Interfaces/Security: Firewall, ACL.

    Security+ or CISSP Certification

    Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in groups

    Desired Skills

    Experience engaging with and working seamlessly within a team

    Experience with networking Linux and/or BSD systems to include system administration null
