    We are seeking highly motivated Software Engineers to support the development and sustainment of the U.S. Missile Defense Agency Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) anti-ballistic missile system project in Huntsville, AL. This position requires on-site work to be performed in Huntsville, AL. There are no remote work options.

    As a Developer for the GMD Weapon System (GWS) Architecture and Delivery (A&D) SPA TEX team you will be an individual contributor in an Agile environment supporting the development of the C++ version of the legacy TEX product, originally developed in Ada.

    Requirements :

    • Active Secret Clearance and U.S. Citizenship

    • Bachelor's Degree in STEM related field, 2-4 years of related experience or a Master's degree with of 2 years of related experience

    • Recent experience of C++ and Python

    • Experience in developing code in a Dev Ops environment using Bitbucket or GitHub -

    • Experience in an Agile environment.

    • Experience in both Windows and Unix OS environments.

    • Demonstrated Communication skills.

    • Must be able to support an in-person / closed-area work environment.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Computer Science Degree.

    • Experience with OASIS model.

    • Experience with PERL and XML.

    • Experience working with requirements collaboration and development.

    • Exposure to Stimulation and Simulation Software
