Telecom consultant

Description

Robert Half is seeking a Telecommunications Consultant for a locally based financial institute.

The Telecom consultant will provide day to day support of internal telecom operations, including ACD (Automatic Call Distribution), IVR (Interactive Voice Response), Phonemail, system user and endpoint configuration and deployment, and providing system administration support of Genesys PureConnect systems. The consultant will be responsible for maintaining the smooth operation of the organization's telephony services, providing day-to-day troubleshooting support, and ensuring optimal functionality of related applications.

Responsibilities

System Administration

-Administer and manage Genesys PureConnect systems.

-Monitor and maintain the performance and security of telecommunications systems.

-Oversee the integration and coordination of various applications to provide seamless phone services.

Troubleshooting

-Quickly identify and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted telephony services.

Travel

Other duties as needed

-May require minor travel within the Albuquerque metro and surrounding areas as needed for on-site support and system maintenance.

The successful Telecom consultant will have

Experience and strong knowledge with Telecommunications and phone systems.

Background in VOIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) technology required

Experience administering and troubleshooting Telecom systems

Familiarity with Genesys PureConnect system administration is a plus

Ability to quickly learn and understand and adapt to new applications.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Availability for minor travel within the Albuquerque metro and surrounding area.

Background required prior to employment
