    SUMMARY: Our team is looking for an energetic and dynamic Technical Operations Associate-Station who will primarily be responsible for the development of Axiom Space Station manufacturing and/or production documentation and coordination of the manufacturing/production efforts. This position reports to Logistics & Integration Operations Manager . This role is onsite and will be based at our SSDF facility.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Review, interpret, and effectively communicate technical requirements (engineering drawings, procedures, technical requirements, etc.) to facilitate manufacturing, maintenance, testing, modification, and/or repair activities in the form of detailed Work Authorizing Documents (WADs) or Task Preparations Sheets (TPSs)

    • Responsible for the work package life cycle from generation, release, completion, and final closure. Tracks work authorizing documents in support of manufacturing, processing, and testing activities to ensure timely delivery and work order closure.

    • Interpret bills of materials and allocate parts, equipment, materials, and tools to meet work requirements and schedules

    • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Property/Bond personnel, and Material Planning personnel to as required to ensure comprehensive work packages are released and the materials needed for the efforts are available

    • Responsible for ensuring work package is properly assigned and distributed to the appropriate group(s)

    • Collaborate with manufacturing & production lab leads to ensure priorities are understood and planned appropriately

    • Supports pre-ship hardware reviews to ensure readiness of hardware

    • Coordinates and/or provides assistance to appropriate organizations for expeditious resolution of work schedule, resolving discrepancies, and work stoppages.

    • Maintain associated logs, records, and indices as required

    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Education & Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree or a combined equivalent of education and experience

    • 2+ years' experience generating technical documentation, manufacturing support, or production support, or a combined equivalent of education and experience

    • Strong background in manufacturing and production processes

    • Experience reading and interpreting drawings and manufacturing/production instructions

    • Experience in aerospace industry, processes and practices strongly preferred

    • Ability to prioritize and multi-task on multiple projects

    • Ability to thrive in a fast environment and produce timely results

    • Ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail

    Essential Functions

    Work Environment: Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on the task.

    Requirements

    • Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.

    • Management has the prerogative to select at any level for which the position is advertised.

    • Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.

    Physical Requirements

    • Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of the time).

    • Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, printer, etc.).
