  • Eaton's AER MSD Mission System Division is currently seeking a Supply Chain Program Manager. This position will be located at our Davenport, IA facility.

    The Davenport facility has approximately 900 employees and is a leader in the design, development, manufacture and delivery of Aerospace life support and safety systems components and services to the global aftermarket and OEM markets.

    The Supply Chain Subcontract Program Manager (SCPM) is responsible for managing, in a matrix environment, subcontractors of critical components during the development phase of New Programs and/or New Bid Proposals. Subcontract Program Management focuses on ensuring Program Management discipline is integrated into the Supply Chain, ensuring suppliers meet the program Cost / Schedule / Performance requirements in accordance with the PRO Launch process. This role focuses on the management of the subcontractor versus the subcontract (i.e. management of the supplier versus management of PO deliverables) from Phase 0 Concept thru Phase 6 Transition to Production ensuring maximum supplier involvement from project launch through rate production.

    The expected annual salary range for this role is $105000.03 - $154000.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

    What you'll do:

    • Development and implementation of the sourcing strategy in support of assigned Bid Proposals and New Production Introduction programs in alignment with the Proposal/Program needs and the One Eaton sourcing strategy.

    • Support the Business Development/Sales Lead for New Bid and Proposal activities. Lead quoting activities in support of the project. Develop the materials (direct & indirect) budget for the Proposal/Program. Coordinate with Commodity Management for the identification of new strategic suppliers to align Division sourcing with Eaton Commodity Strategies.

    • Be accountable for the effective Program Management of the subcontractor(s), ensuring smooth flow of customer requirements through the supply chain and on schedule deliveries from the supplier(s). The position is oriented toward management of the Subcontractor as opposed to management of a Subcontract.

    • Manage, with the Commodity Lead, subcontract negotiations ensuring Non-Disclosure (NDA), Long Term Agreements (LTA), or other contractual vehicles include protection of Eaton Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), Proprietary data, and Non-Compete requirements.

    • Integrate suppliers in the Design Phase assuring participation in Design Reviews to all design alternatives and solutions are evaluated to develop a resilient and manufacturable solution for long life-cycle products.

    • Understand critical paths within the programs (proposal stage, pending win, win) including supplier dependencies (contracting/material/manufacturing lead times). Ensures supplier timelines and requirements are factored into the Eaton proposal/program schedules.

    • Ensure project compliance to all government and commercial contracting requirements as applicable (FAR, DFAR, ITAR, ~~~.).

    • Manage the subcontractor by leading the entire business plan with assigned subcontractor through regularly scheduled program reviews with defined agendas and action lists for follow-up/close out.

    • Develop the Supply Chain resiliency strategy (by Proposal/Program and by Supplier) to ensure sustained supplier performance to Eaton requirements. Ensure the plan is fully understood and integrated into the Proposal/Program, to include Eaton obligations to the supplier.

    • Establish link from Customer Requirements to Supplier Statement of Work and Performance Based Specifications. Ensures SOW and PBS are kept current as design decisions are made.

    • Manage and documents Supply Chain/Supplier completion of key Milestones for the Proposal/Program (Bid Submission, PDR, CDR, TRR, etc).

    • Accept flex assignments from time to time as required by Division.

    Qualifications:

    Required (Basic) Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

    • Minimum of two (2) years experience in Supply Chain, Program Management, Manufacturing, Engineering or Contracts.

    • Minimum of one (1) year experience within a high mix / low volume manufacturing environment.

    • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.

    • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

    • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 70-mile radius of Davenport, IA will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing or Engineering from an accredited institution.

    • Minimum of five (5) years in Supply Chain or Program Management.

    • Experience in an Aerospace manufacturing environment.

    • Experience in metal fabrication, electronics, purchasing and materials management.

    • CPIM, CSCP, and/or PMP certification.

    • New Business Development experience.

    • Experience with Enovia (product life cycle management), Oracle, SAP, MFG/Pro, Cognos or other equivalent ERP / MRP software.
