    Summary:

    REMOTE (Must reside in the state of Arkansas)

    Supervises a team of developers that design and develop enterprise-level technical solutions on a variety of platforms and mobile devices. Performs coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the solution development process. Collaborates with healthcare professionals and other IS team members to analyze business situations, determine the technologies needed, and produce working solutions.

    Description

    1. Develops solutions to meet the needs of the hospital.

    2. Works with users, supervisors, and other stakeholders to determine a project specification, system design and architecture.

    3. Provides on-going support for solutions, including assessment of issues, documentation of resolution on support tickets, and completion of tickets with designated priority time frames. Oversees maintenance.

    4. Follows programming guidelines, standards and department processes for system deployment, testing and revisions.

    5. Prepares prototypes and written documentation to communicate ideas and vision to project team.

    6. Reduces duplication in systems and reports through experience and exposure to business needs and system implementation.

    7. Develops creative and innovative initiatives to improve the services offered by the department.

    8. Provides professional, friendly, and supportive customer service to end users.

    9. Identifies potential areas of improvement for existing projects and proposes and implements changes to improve those processes.

    10. Actively participates in the development life cycle by anticipating problems and recommending alternative solutions.

    11. Evaluates and develops departmental training initiatives for solution development.

    12. Hires, terminates, coaches, counsels, trains and evaluates employees.

    13. Serves as a mentor for individual contributors.

    14. Leads and completes projects in technologies and areas outside core competencies.
