We are seeking an organized and motivated Staff Accountant to join our Rockville, MD client's Accounting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial record-keeping, analysis, and reporting to support the organization's financial objectives. salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

• Record financial transactions in accounting software

• Prepare and analyze financial statements

• Reconcile bank and account statements

• Assist with budget preparation and monitoring

• Review financial data for accuracy

• Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

• Provide financial reporting support

• Assist with year end audit

• Ensure compliance with GAAP standards

Skills

• Accounts Payable (3 years of experience is preferred)

• Accounts Receivable

• Account Reconciliation
