Summary
The Senior Project Manager applies a comprehensive industry knowledge to communicate and harmonize Freeman client's production requirements between sales and operations; improving efficiencies, controlling costs and providing a seamless flow of information. Works with sales and operations prior to, during, and after the event to ensure successful delivery of all production requirements. Responsible for large accounts that contain complex and highly technical specifications.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Engages in the opportunity development of event design by providing technical expertise to sales and our clients
Provides technical advice and assists sales in the budgetary and developmental process of shows
Participates in site surveys as needed to ensure proper planning of events
Participates in the planning and implementation of operational activities for assigned events
Attends weekly operations meetings & provides event information input
Creates/reviews CAD designs within Company standards to ensure proper execution of the event
Oversees the planning and implementation of operational activities for assigned events
Facilitates regular production meetings with branch operations to ensure production deliverables meet client expectations
Oversees and approves production documentation including production schedules, labor calls and equipment and staging orders
Oversees and approves event logistics and delivery schedules
Facilitates communication with facilities and venues, and confirms production details between the facility and branch operations
Oversees operational requirements on show-site to ensure efficient and cost effective solutions that meet client expectations
Communicates client objectives and operational plans to show-site staff
Facilitates post event de-briefs and ensures insights and experiences are documented to improve future opportunities
Works with operations, sales and/or Executive Producer to review and approve all event related costs
Leverages expert knowledge to review, recommend and implement innovation and improvements.
Maintains understanding of union jurisdictions and how they are to be applied
Performs other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
High School Graduate, Bachelor's in related field preferred
Minimum of 7 years industry experience with 5 years of event project management
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) preferred.
Travel Requirements
Travel more than 75%
