The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services in Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico:

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual within the RTX Enterprise Services - Controllership and Compliance team. This organization offers opportunity for this individual to be part of a growing accounting department and develop processes to sustain flexibility as business needs change. Job responsibilities are subject to change based upon alignment of processes within this developing organization.

What You Will Do

• Prepare 50+ monthly bank account reconciliations in various currencies.

• Monthly journal entries and closing activities related to various Collins Aerospace, Pratt & Whitney, and Corporate Raytheon accounts.

• Research various bank reconciliation outstanding items.

• Meet with various business leaders to resolve outstanding reconciliation items.

• Participate in process improvement activities related to all central accounting functions as required, i.e., journal entry automation, support finance transformation, other automation efforts.

• Contribute to General Accounting by bringing innovative solutions within the knowledge base and work of the department.

• Provide excellent customer service to Collins Aerospace, Pratt & Whitney, and Corporate including answering questions or ad hoc requests as required.

Qualifications You Must Have

• F amiliarity with US GAAP Accounting

• Fluent in English

• Proven verbal and written communication skills, good business acumen and ability to brief levels of management

• P roficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and database reporting skills

• Analytical, planning and organizational skills to problem solve and recommend comprehensive solutions

• Proven experience in a fast paced, deadline driven environment

• Ability to maintain a service-oriented demeanor with professionalism in sensitive and challenging situations

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounting or related field

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required

• This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Knowledge of or experience with current finance and accounting systems and month end close procedures

• Experience in SAP, HFM and/or SmartView is a plus

• CPA/MBA is a plus
