    Using design documentation and functional programming specifications, you will be responsible for implementing identified components. You will ensure that implemented components are appropriately documented, unit-tested, and ready for integration into the final product. You will have the opportunity to architect the solution, test the code, and deploy and build a CI/CD pipeline for it.

    Required Technical and Professional Experience

    • Minimum 5-6 years of experience.

    • Configuring, monitoring and improving PostgreSQL databases

    • Allocation of system storage and planning storage requirements

    • Planning backup, restore and recovery and managing data replication;

    • Query analysis for troubleshooting and performance tunning (indexes, partition, statistics);

    • Database and server OS software patches and upgrades;

    • Automatization of some DBA activities, alerts and reporting;

    • Documents on DBA process and automatic jobs;

    • Awareness of infrastructure and software around the database;

    • Proactive suggestions to improve the database and its usage.

    Beside of the main role, candidate will also participate other activities related to the data :

    Teradata database

    • Participate some DBA tasks around Teradata database such as monitoring, user management, space management and user support

    • Participate CICD process and supports regarding to Teradata database components

    • Participate at troubleshooting regarding to SQL failures, performance issues

    Big data (Cloudera)

    • Supports other team for troubleshooting and internal process.

    • Candidate will work with the supporting team to support development teams and operational teams on subjects related to data.

    Preferred Skills with significant experience

    • PostgreSQL database administration and monitoring;

    • Backup, restore, replication;

    • indexes, index management, and statistics;

    • SQL development ;

    • Good analysis and problem solving skills with communications skills, comfortable liaising with other teams to coordinate.

    • Teradata

    • Ecosystem and tools around Big Data

    • Jenkins

    • Ansible
