Our client is seeking a Manager of Information Security to join the team and lead their efforts to achieve and maintain the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) for the organization. The Manager of Information Security will be responsible for defining and enforcing the company information security policies, promoting security awareness among their employees and clients, responding to incidents and breaches, performing risk assessments, and ensuring business continuity in the event of a disaster. To be successful in this role, you should have a solid background in information security, compliance, and risk management, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills. You should also be familiar with the CMMC framework and its requirements, as well as other relevant standards and regulations. You will report directly to the Director of IS Operations and work closely with other managers and stakeholders across the organization.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent work experience
5+ years of experience in information security, compliance, and risk management, preferably in a CMMC-compliant or similar environment
Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CMMC-AB are preferred
Heavy knowledge and understanding of the CMMC framework and its requirements, as well as other relevant standards and regulations such as NIST, ISO, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, etc.
Muct have technical skills and experience in information security domains such as network security, endpoint security, cloud security, identity and access management, encryption, etc.
Must have leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with different levels and functions of the organization
Heavy analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Particular attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information

Architect and design scalable, robust, and secure AI and ML solutions that align with business objectives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including the Director of Solutions, IS Operations, data, and business stakeholders to identify and prioritize high-impact AI opportunities
Develop technical roadmaps, select appropriate AI/ML tools, platforms, and frameworks, including Azure AI services and OpenAI solutions
Provide technical leadership and mentor data analysts and developers to ensure adherence to best practices and architectural principles
Stay at the forefront of AI/ML research and industry trends, and provide thought leadership on how to incorporate them into our solutions
Act as an evangelist for AI, educating the organization on the potential of AI and driving adoption of AI solutions
Define and track key metrics to measure the success and ROI of AI initiatives
Collaborate with data governance and security teams to ensure AI solutions meet regulatory and compliance requirements
Leverage AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot and Microsoft Fabric to enhance productivity and solution quality
