    As a Solution Architect , you will play a critical role in the design and delivery of technology solutions that enable Premera to achieve its business goals and objectives. Working closely with stakeholders, you will analyze requirements, create logical architecture designs, and document technology solutions that meet the business requirements of the organization.     This is a hybrid role, with some onsite days required. You must live within driving distance of our Mountlake Terrace campus, located about 15 miles north of Seattle, Washington.

    What you'll do:

    • Understand the business needs of the organization and use this understanding to develop technology solutions that meet those needs.

    • Create architecture designs that outline the components and processes required to meet the business requirements.

    • Partner with development team leads as they create physical architecture designs that supports the logical designs.

    • Work with stakeholders across the organization to ensure that solutions are aligned with business goals and objectives, and that they meet the needs of end-users.

    • Recommend appropriate technologies and system solutions that scale and consider a system-wide and architectural view.

    • Consult with business partners and IT leaders to identify problems and opportunities for improvement.

    • Provide technical guidance to development teams and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality and scalable solutions.

    • Collaborate with development team members to create web solutions.

    • Create and maintain architecture and engineering standards and guidelines that help ensure consistency and quality across solutions.

    • Work closely with external vendors and partners to ensure that they are delivering solutions that meet the organization's requirements.

    • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and evaluate their potential impact on the organization's existing systems and processes.

    • Ensure that solutions meet relevant quality and compliance standards.

    • Partner effectively with peers in Product/Program Management, Engineering, and Business to drive DevSecOps adoption.

    What you'll bring:

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information Systems. (Required)

    • 12+ years of relevant experience in software development, with expertise in one or more programming languages, and a deep understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) (Required)

    • 4+ years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing secure, scalable, and cost-efficient solutions on the Cloud, preferably Microsoft Azure platform (Preferred)

    • Experience with Live Site and operating in DevSecOps environment.

    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.

    • Experience in designing solutions with non-relational databases such as Graph/Doc DB as well as Mobile applications and general experience using Angular/React/C#

    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders, development teams, and external vendors.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business requirements and develop technical solutions.

    The pay for this role will vary based on a range of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's geographic location, market conditions, and specific skills and experience.

    National Salary Range:

    $125,200.00 - $225,400.00

    National Plus Salary Range:

    $142,700.00 - $256,900.00

    _*National Plus salary range is used in higher cost of labor markets including Western Washington and Alaska_ .
