    The Shipping and Receiving Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of shipping, receiving, and inventory management to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our logistics department. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to meeting customer demands in a timely manner.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Ensure all employees adhere to safety protocols and possess the necessary tools and resources to perform their duties safely.

    • Manage all carriers and shipments to guarantee on-time deliveries to customers.

    • Schedule department hours and authorize overtime as needed to meet customer expectations.

    • Coordinate closely with production and quality departments to ensure on-time, in-full deliveries.

    • Manage dock doors and equipment to optimize the flow of goods in and out of the facility safely and efficiently.

    • Maintain inventory accuracy and oversee warehouse operations in alignment with GMP standards.

    • Develop, implement, and audit Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in accordance with ISO 9000/14000 standards.

    • Manage employee timecards on a weekly basis and address pay corrections as necessary.

    • Undertake other administrative tasks as assigned.

    Requirements

    • Experience:

      • 3+ years in shipping, receiving, or a related field.

      • 5+ years in personnel management.

    • Education:

      • Bachelor's degree preferred.
    • Skills:

      • Ability to obtain IATA, DG, and other necessary certifications for shipping goods.

      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

      • Strong leadership abilities with a professional management style.

      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

      • Outstanding interpersonal skills for collaboration with other Flint Group facilities worldwide.

      • Detail-oriented with the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively.

      • Collaborative team player with problem-solving skills.

      • Experience in identifying potential problems and offering alternative solutions.

      • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines within budget constraints.

      • Commitment to continuous quality improvement.

      • Experience with SAP Business Processing System preferred.

      • Familiarity with international shipment procedures preferred.
