SMX is seeking a mid-level SharePoint/Web Developer to support the Air Force Intelligence Community (IC) enterprise cloud program. This individual will bring a strong trouble-shooting background, a backend technical skill set, and an ability to deploy production-ready solutions for web applications and user interface (UI). The individual will be capable of working independently, able to act with a sense of urgency, and willing to contribute as an active member of the team, including deputy project management and potentially some communications and marketing production. This role will be responsible for managing unclassified and classified SharePoint web pages, as well as supporting communications and marketing products, and giving inputs and recommendations to the Air Force IC cloud strategy and implementation plans. You will assist the team in creating cloud-specific messaging, presentations, marketing materials, documentation, and campaigns to drive community education, awareness, and success. You will also help organize and sometimes lead ongoing engagements with our customers and partners. The right candidate will understand the IC, be very organized, be a self-starter, have a creative vision, and have the opportunity to create high-impact products and websites for the team, client, and the Air Force IC.

This is a hybrid position that requires to be onsite one to four times a month (Herndon, VA and/or Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling) with some travel to participate in meetings or events across the US, when appropriate and in adherence with COVID-19 guidelines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Knowledgeable or have worked with the DoD Intelligence Community (IC)

• Foundational cloud knowledge (primarily AWS and/or Azure)

• Responsible for the maintenance and updates of client SharePoint sites on all 3 x classification levels

• Responsible for identifying and presenting to the customer their tasks or issues deemed in need of additional visibility and quick turn-around

• Experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams to provide input and solutions to meet client requirements

• Creative type who can support marketing and communications product development (brochures, videos, presentations, graphics, etc)

Required Skills/Experience:

• Clearance: TS/SCI

• Hybrid on site support one to four times a month (Herndon, VA and/or Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling)

• Bachelor's degree or 4-5 years equivalent experience in computer sciences, web development, and/or project management.

• 5+ years' experience with Microsoft SharePoint Designer (includes 2016 & 2019)

• 3+ years' experience using media creation programs (ex. Canva, AI tools, video creation, etc)

• Highly proficient in JavaScript / JQuery, HTML 5, CSS

• Highly proficient in Adobe Pro and Microsoft Office 365 Suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, and Outlook).

Desired Skills/Experience:

• Experience with website design and knowledge of program languages for the development and maintenance of websites across various platforms

• Deputy-level program/project management experience

• Very strong verbal and written communication skills

• Highly organized and a keen eye for small details

• Great multi-tasker and ability to manage several different tasks throughout each day

• Ability to produce and present documents and briefings to audiences (customer engagements and training sessions)

• Able to work in a team environment with frequent customer, senior company, and senior government leadership contact and engagements
