    Tuknik Government Services (TGS) currently has an opening for a SharePoint Developer for the Department of Defense Office of the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Officer (CDAO). This position requires an experienced person with demonstrated SharePoint expertise, superior professional demeanor, and the ability to accomplish a wide variety of day-to-day responsibilities that ensure program success. The position will be responsible for developing SharePoint applications around the core concepts of knowledge management, automation, workflow & process improvement, system/application integration, enterprise content management, and collaboration. This position will be responsible for assisting in defining business and technical requirements, designing/developing/deploying custom SharePoint solutions, employing SharePoint Best Practices and providing ongoing SharePoint technical support. Also, this position will be responsible for the integration and full implementation of Sapling and Lever across the human capital lifecycle for the organization.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop custom SharePoint solutions using seeded functionality (workflows, web parts, etc.) as well as custom solutions using .NET & SharePoint 2010 development strategies. Desired tools include InfoPath and SharePoint Designer.

    • Serves as Web Developer and Site Administrator, to assimilate business information & apply leading practices to make recommendations for an impactful SharePoint solution.

    • Analyze the HR Office's business requirements, assess alternative solutions, design develop and implement application system solutions using Microsoft SharePoint or other systems.

    • Based on understanding of requirements, configure and/or develop SharePoint 2010 web parts, pages, navigation and security to meet business needs.

    • Participate in system testing, integration testing, and review/development of business training materials.

    • Application and data integration from various sources.

    • Automation and document management using SharePoint 2010.

    • Lead the integration and implementation of HR technologies solutions, like Lever and Sapling across the human capital lifecycle.

    • Work in partnership with clients and business users to develop business requirements, processes and systems.

    • Document processes, identifying HR concerns, and compiling data analysis reports.

    • Perform application upgrades, as well as providing training and technical support.

    • Develop and implement new processes and systems for efficient HR management.

    • Participate in special projects as required.

    • Assist the Government with preparing reports, briefs, white papers, etc.

    Requirements:

    • 10-years of related experience

    • Significant experience as a SharePoint Developer defining, designing, testing and deploying web solutions on Microsoft Office platforms. SharePoint experience must include SharePoint Designer workflows, effective use of the Data View Web Part (DVWP), InfoPath forms development, Document sets, content query web part, data form web part, navigation customization, and some branding customization.

    • Extensive knowledge of SharePoint 2010, InfoPath, SharePoint Designer and Workflow Foundation

    • Knowledge must include architectural design, web parts development, management and troubleshooting with a focus on planning, deploying and supporting enterprise SharePoint implementations.

    • Experience in development, configuration, implementation, and maintenance.

    • Experience integrating business intelligence renderings into SharePoint sites.

    • Project experience deploying content management solutions focusing on document management, workflow, document archiving, content creation and deployment strategies for web-focused business teams or consumers.

    • Project experience deploying intranets, collaborative workspaces, internal portals or departmental web sites.

    • Understanding of system design, development concepts and best practices.

    • Experience integrating and deploying HR technology solutions, like Lever and Sapling across the human capital lifecycle of a DoD organization.

    • Extensive knowledge of the DoD risk management and cybersecurity considerations for the deployment of commercial tools and applications.

    • Basic knowledge of OSD Principal Staff Assistant (PSA) organizations and general functional knowledge of the information systems maintained by each.

    • Experience leading integration design sessions to gather requirements.

    • Experience developing personas, user stories, and workflows for HR system initiatives.

    • Demonstrates excellent communication skills, a high level of integrity, critical thinking, and leadership courage.

    • Must be a self-starter that can recognize needs and act with little to no guidance.

    • Able to rapidly understand and apply new concepts.

    • Advanced MS Word skills; proficient PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook application skills.

    • SharePoint Certifications Highly Desired: Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist (MCTS) for SharePoint, Application Development AND/OR Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist (MCTS) for SharePoint, Configuration

    • Bachelor's Degree in a related field

    • To be considered, must have a CURRENT/ACTIVE SECRET security clearance.

    Desired Skills

    • Experience presenting Big Data graphical renderings with drill down ability through Business Intelligence suites in a SharePoint environment.

    • Experience working in Principal Staff Assistant (PSA) offices.

    • Experience with knowledge management,

    • Experience in transition from SharePoint 2010 to 2013

    • Experience in administration.

    • Experience integrating business intelligence renderings into SharePoint sites.

    • 3 years or more experience supporting the Office of the Secretary of Defense Staff

    • Master's Degree in a related field

    Education:

    • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
