    SETA Senior Systems Engineer

    We are looking for bright, innovative and talented people to join our team of highly skilled professionals. This position is to provide systems engineering and technical assistance support to support multiple satellite programs.?The candidate must possess and apply systems engineering principles, theories, and concepts for highly classified systems, while also effectively communicating complex results with management and executive leadership. SIGINT, GEOINT, and/or Communications/RF domain experience is required. The candidate will develop technical positions for senior advocacy and represent multiple aspects of the program to the community. The candidate may also support aspects of the entire acquisition and source selection process as an advisor to the Government.?

    Responsibilities

    • Support design, interpretation, and analysis of technical solutions for complex projects

    • Support development of architectures, requirements and advises design trades and associated cost, schedule, and technical impacts to the program

    • Ensure completion of programs, projects, or tasks within estimated time frames

    • Provide input to the government customer concerning risks to performance, schedule, and budget due to either proposed contractor plans or contractor's execution of accepted plans

    • Ensure the quality of the program, project, or task deliverables meet or exceed standards and assesses such deliverables to ensure that final deliverables will meet the purpose for which they are intended

    • Coordinate with multiple partners/agencies to accomplish program milestones

    • Provide strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to program and project staff; may supervise studies and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions

    • Provide detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements and optimization for client specific or mission critical challenges/issues

    • Provide acquisition planning, proposal review/recommendations and

    develop acquisition strategies, plans, and processes

    • Support source selection activities to include drafting and reviewing acquisition documents and support RFP development and coordination, performing market research, and assessing acquisition risk

    • Conduct programmatic analysis to provide strategic recommendations

    • Support contract performance management activities including program management reviews, technical review of CDRLs, and quality assurance activities

    • Have strong communication skills and relationships within the enterprise (e.g. COMM and SED) and the user communities, to include NSA and ODNI

    • Aid in coordination of documentation through ODNI and internal NRO Govt processes for a new start SIGINT program

    • Support the development and presentation of program overview and advocacy briefings to the IC and the DoD

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Field

    • Must have minimum of 15 years working in the IC

    • Experience with IC policies and procedures

    • Experience with space systems

    • Fluency with IC organizations

    • Ability to work effectively in a high-paced environment on a team and as an individual

    • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy-oral and written

    • Demonstrated attention to detail

    • Excellent communication and coordination skills

    Desired:

    • Master's Degree in a Technical Field

    • Experience specifically related to Government acquisition initiatives

    Clearance:

    • Active TOP SECRET clearance with sensitive compartmentalized information (SCI) and a Counter-Intelligence polygraph

    • Candidate must maintain a TS/SCI clearance as a condition of employment

    Location/Travel Requirements:

    • May require travel up to 20% of time within the continental United States and overseas
