    Want to help make the world a safer, more secure, more sustainable place? We're seeking an experienced, exceptionally versatile business writer with a broad background developing strategic content for virtually every corporate application: executive presentations and speeches, advertising and marketing copy, video treatments and scripts, web copy, change-management campaigns, intranet content, employee publications, media releases and briefing documents, financial reports, social media copy, and more.

    The ideal candidate will bring a mix of journalistic, corporate and creative storytelling skills to the role, working closely with a talented team of fellow writers and executive-communications experts to develop content that's succinct, original, compelling and effective. This individual will serve as a key member of the company's Business Communications team, working with our executive-communications partners to develop compelling content for different organizations within the company, and outside it.

    In the run of an average week, this individual contributor is likely to dedicate time as follows:

    • Development and execution of strategic internal and external communications content encompassing everything from town hall meetings, intranet articles, executive leader communications and presentations to speeches, advertising and sponsorship copy, social-media copy, press releases, video scripts and more. (70%)

    • Leading communications for key companywide change-management projects and developing creative communications tactics to promote these efforts. (20%)

    • Other activities as assigned (10%)

    • BS/BA degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field, plus 5-10 years of related experience.

    • Broad-based experience writing for a variety of executives and other leaders, with demonstrated ability to craft communications spanning a wide range of applications, audiences and executive voices.

    • Experience working in global communications for a complex, matrixed organization across regions is preferred.

    • Extensive experience translating complex ideas and technological/scientific concepts into simple, compelling communications, as well as cultivating productive and trusting relationships with senior leaders.

    • Experience managing and using a wide array of communications tools and channels.
