    The Senior Statistical Analyst, as a vital member of the Bioinformatics team, plays a pivotal role in conducting statistical analyses and validating results generated by vendors. This position requires a robust understanding of statistical concepts coupled with programming expertise. A key responsibility involves ensuring the accuracy and validity of statistical analysis work, whether performed in-house or outsourced to vendors.

    Effective collaboration is essential in this role, necessitating strong communication and coordination with cross-functional teams and external vendors. The Senior Statistical Analyst is responsible for ensuring that all statistical and programming activities are in line with project objectives, standard operating procedures, and regulatory guidelines.

    Beyond mere execution of programming tasks, the Senior Statistical Analyst is deeply involved in the statistical interpretation and strategic planning of analyses. This encompasses a comprehensive grasp of statistical theory and exceptional skills in statistical programming. The role demands a high level of expertise in statistical methodologies, the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and excellent communication skills for effective liaison with internal teams and external vendors.

    Key responsibilities of the Senior Statistical Analyst include a wide range of critical tasks. This includes conducting and validating statistical analyses, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data outputs across multiple phase I-IV clinical trials, and preparing analyses for abstracts and publications. The Analyst is also responsible for developing and upholding compliance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines. In collaboration with cross-functional teams and vendors, the Senior Statistical Analyst ensures that all analysis and programming results meet the highest quality standards. This position requires a profound expertise in various statistical methodologies, proficiency in SAS programming, and exceptional project management and communication skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    Master's degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science, or a related field is required.

    A minimum of 5 years of experience in statistical analysis and programming, with proficiency in SAS and/or R applications.

    Demonstrated expertise in a range of statistical techniques such as regression analysis, hypothesis testing, multivariate analysis, survival analysis, logistic regression analysis, and missing data analysis.

    Deep understanding of clinical trial design, sampling estimations, and statistical inference.

    Comprehensive knowledge of statistical programming processes, including the development, review, and validation of database specifications and analysis outputs.

    Stay abreast of new developments and techniques in statistics and statistical programming within the industry, contributing to the innovation of new analysis methods and programming methodologies.

    In-depth understanding of regulatory guidelines such as ICH E3, E6, and E9, and their application in clinical trials.

    Experience with industry data standards, including CDISC, SDTM, CDASH, ADAM, and their implementation in statistical programming.

    Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing, and to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors.

    Demonstrated capability in managing multiple projects, with strong skills in statistical interpretation, strategic planning of analyses, and ensuring alignment of statistical activities with project objectives.
