    As our

    Senior Radiologic Technologist, you will specialize in fixing radiographic,

    fluoroscopic and mobile equipment while also demonstrating expertise in digital

    radiography and image processing. Proficiency in performing radiographic

    procedures across diverse patient demographics, including neonates, infants,

    children, adults and geriatric patients is absolutely essential. Additionally,

    you will ensure timely completion of all studies and maintain adherence to

    prescribed standards for film image production.

    Duties

    include but are not limited to

      • Assist the Radiologist as needed
      • Competently perform radiographic procedures on neonates, infants, children, adults, and geriatric patients
      • Hemodynamic monitoring and scrub assistance on diagnostic and interventional procedures
      • Operation and quality assurance of digital/cine radiographic equipment
      • The Sr. RT is also responsible for enhanced fluoroscopic duties in the GI and GU arena

    This

    position is posted as a Senior Radiologic Technologist but those not meeting

    the senior requirements will be considered for a Radiologic Technologist role.

    Radiologic

    Technologist

      • Graduate of JRCERT accredited radiologic technologist program is strongly preferred
      • Salary Range: $46.21 - $56.32 Hourly

    Senior Radiologic Technologist

      • Minimum of two years of prior experience within general diagnostic environment
      • Venipuncture Certificate
      • Graduate of JRCERT accredited radiologic technologist program is strongly preferred
      • Salary Range: $48.28 - $63.65 Hourly

    The Senior and Radiologic Technologist is expected to

    support UCLA healthcare radiology locations in the Santa Monica and Westwood

    region.

    Radiologic Technologists need to possess the skills, knowledge and abilities

    essential to the successful performance of duties assigned to the position;

    graduate of a Radiologic Technology Training Program approved by the American

    Medical Association or equivalent training, maintaining current CRT, CRT -

    Fluoro and ARRT licensure.

    Salary

    Range: $ 46.21 - $63.65

    Qualifications

      • ARRT certification - required
      • CRT license - required
      • Fluoroscopic permit - required
      • BCLS certificate from American Heart Association or American Red Cross- required
      • JCERT approved Radiologic Technologist Program graduate
      • Ability to adapt to advancement and changing technology
      • Ability to identify and recognize contraindications for exams. (Radiology Only)
      • Ability to respond efficiently to expressed needs of referring services, physicians and patients
      • Demonstrate knowledge of clinical billing (IDX codes) to ensure appropriate accounting and reimbursement of services rendered
      • Knowledge of medical terminology, with ability to distinguish between types of procedures within the assigned department(s) and medical diagnoses
      • Skill in employing independent decision making while performing various job functions
      • Telephone manners and skills to handle heavy telephone lines with courtesy and tact
      • Understand the requirements of the EMTALA (Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act)
