Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Process Engineer facilitates process improvement efforts in both an individual and team environment to reduce costs, improve quality, and streamline processes. The Senior Process Engineer provides coaching and training in problem-solving methodologies, assists in the creation of infrastructure and mentors new engineers to expedite their development.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.

Minimum Required: Four-year technical, statistical, engineering or mathematics degree.

Preferred/Optional: Formal training in problem solving methodologies, systems analysis and statistical analysis.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum Required: Four years' experience in use of process improvement methodologies. Experience in a facilitation role in improvement projects, with demonstrated measurable results.

Preferred/Optional: Process improvement experience within Marshfield Clinic Health System.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.

Minimum Required: State of Wisconsin driver's license and acceptable driving record. Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt from accredited institution/employer equivalent or Six Sigma Black Belt from the American Society for Quality (ASQ) or an accredited institution/employer equivalent or American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Engineer within 18 months of hire.

Preferred/Optional: Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt from accredited institution or Six Sigma Black Belt from the American Society for Quality (ASQ) or an accredited institution or American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Engineer.
