  • As part of Tek's global operations team, We are looking for a Senior Operations Manager that will be responsible for leading the Beaverton, OR operations facility team. The products manufactured in this facility include advanced, sophisticated electrical test instruments and systems for the specialized needs of electronics manufacturers in production testing, process monitoring, product development and research.

    As the Beaverton Plant Manager, you will directly lead the Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Procurement, Materials Planning, and the Operations Analyst teams. You will own the following KPI's: Safety, OTD, OTD/S2S, Inventory, Absorption, PPV, RTY, and product PAL.

    Responsibilities:

    • Drive Operations vision, strategy, and purpose; champions, communicates, and provides direction as needed in support of the organization's goals.

    • Leads, energizes and engages individuals to achieve personal development and business goals; retains talent.

    • Plans and implements improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity, and Cost.

    • Adopt and promotes the lean culture and drives continuous improvement. Applies daily and visual management to identify and quickly mitigate SQDC issues.

    • Acquires, aligns and prioritizes resources to meet production needs, new product introduction requirements, and customer expectations.

    • Actively monitors yield and other quality related metrics, acts as needed.

    • Identifies and seeks solutions to inefficiencies in the manufacturing operations.

    • Partners with quality and NPI teams to achieve agreed upon roadmaps for improvement.

    • Partners with HR for organization and talent development, talent risk management, and succession planning.

    • Quickly prioritizes the critical few and assigns work appropriately.

    • Ability to lead process improvements using continuous improvement tools including establishing standard work and using metrics to drive goals.

    • Coaches and rewards behaviors and actions that drive continuous improvement and accountability.

    • Promotes collaboration within and between functions and across the operations team, globally and facilitates resolution of issues quickly.

    • Uses thorough problem solving and root cause analysis to solve difficult or sophisticated problems.

    Qualifications:

    • Operations leadership experience of a minimum of 5 years

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in operations, engineering, or related field desired

    • Multi-functional management experience with an emphasis in manufacturing, process engineering, test engineering, or quality preferred

    • Continuous improvement approach. Data and Fact-Based problem-solving skills, Lean Mfg/FBS/6 sigma knowledge desired

    • Excellent organizational and time management skills and attention to detail

    • Proficient in computer skills (Microsoft Office products: Project, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

    • Experience working in an ERP system preferably Oracle
