As a Lead System Designer with Fleet Solutions, you will own the system requirements and collaborate with cross-functional and multiple product teams to lead the successful delivery of new solutions.

    Job Description

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Manages product and systems requirements, specifications and flow down. Drives validation and verification test activities for the overall product/system, including system level testing.

    • Own Imaging Digital Solutions product systems feature and clinical application development projects including technical risk retirement, safety and regulatory compliance, with systems thinking.

    • Collaborates with different disciplines and cross functions including engineering platform teams, user experience, quality, regulatory, marketing, manufacturing, product management, research teams, and customers.

    • Work closely with users, customers, marketing, clinical applications and field personnel to understand key user needs and develop metrics to quantify customer experience.

    • Document design solutions and decisions as part of design controls process for a regulated medical device.

    • Supporting, coordinating and leading technical reviews.

    • Define platform test strategy and perform hands on product integration activities.

    • Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.

    • Contribute to and shape system designs, and collaborate with marketing, clinical partners and luminaries for clinical application features.

    • In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.

    • Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.

    • Stays up to speed on industry technologies and applies those to product development and to improve systems design practices.

    Required Qualifications

    • For roles in USA - Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience

    Desired Characteristics

    • Broad exposure to HW/SW/Systems design, and technical depth in one or more engineering disciplines ( Mechanical, Software, etc)

    • Broad exposure to Safety and Risk assessment of a product marked as medical device.

    • Experience in medical imaging industry and has experienced with more than one product launch in the market.

    • Experience in requirements engineering.

    • Experience in product design

    • Experience working in Scaled Agile framework.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task

    • Demonstrated problem solving ability and results orientation

    • Demonstrated influencing a cross functional/matrix team
