  • Amentum is seeking a Senior IT Disaster Recovery Specialist to lead and manage large scale IT Disaster Recovery (ITDR) programs and support day to day Disaster Recovery (DR) Operations to join our team and support our Washington, DC customer.     Responsibilities

    • Performs day-to-day activities required to manage a DR program, such as designing and administrating a DR program to include business continuity planning, developing policies, standards, guidelines, training programs, and a viable quality assurance process for disaster recovery at HQ, SEC datacenters and regional Offices.

    • Oversee and review the testing and implementation of software, data systems, and data networks to ensure that the integrity and security of all electronic data and data systems are adequately protected.

    • Assist in the coordination, preparation, and establishment of disaster recovery programs and business resumption planning across all enterprise platforms organization wide.

    • Designs and administers programs to include business continuity administration, policies, standards, guidelines, training programs, and a viable quality assurance process for disaster recovery.

    • Facilitate the development of Information System Contingency Plan (ISCP) for each information system and business unit, covering all assets necessary for recovery.

    • Review business impact analysis documents to include in the business continuity administration documents.

    • Support OIG audit or any other business continuity audit activities.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • At least 8 years of related experience leading and managing large scale IT Disaster Recovery (ITDR) programs

    • Possess strong analytical, managerial, and organizational skills, and must be able to interface and coordinate work efficiently and effectively with multiple groups and organizations

    • Familiarity with Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) related to contingency planning

    • Understanding of business impact analysis process

    • Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.
