The Opportunity:

As part of the Homesense in-house creative team, the Senior Copywriter is responsible for writing on brand, emotive, strategically-driven copy for all creative executions including social media, email, web, radio, signage, search & more. An experienced, proven writing talent, this person will also bring concepting skills to the table, enabling Homesense to break through and communicate our brand messages in uniquely fresh, forward-thinking ways.

Who We Are Looking For:

• Partner with CDs and Designers to concept and complete social media, email, web, radio, signage, and search projects based on established brand guidelines and tone of voice.

• Ability to take a creative brief, objectives, and input/data-driven results from Brand Marketing team and produce thoughtful, compelling creative.

• Fluency (and an affinity!) for the digital space.

• Shown ability to effectively share ideas to team, clients, and/or more senior Creative team members.

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with Creative and Brand team partners.

• Efficiently handle workload, and are comfortable working in a fast-paced, quick-turn environment.

• Collaborate with Creative partners, Brand, and Project Managers to effectively meet objectives, schedules, and deadlines.

• Be collaborative, resilient, and open to ideas and feedback from Creatives and project partners.

• Remain current on industry trends and standard processes.

• Inspire and mentor junior members of the Creative team to develop a stronger team overall!

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of related work experience at internal or external agency.

• BA in English, Communications, or similar degree or equivalent experience.

• Previous experience working in the digital and retail space.

• Passion for home decor & home fashion.

• Ability to balance multiple projects with fluid parameters.

• Excellent communication & organizational ability.
