Revenue Cycle/AR Manager

Description

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable/Revenue Cycle Manager in the healthcare industry around the Norfolk, VA area. We are offering an exciting opportunity for a professional who will be tasked with managing the front office revenue cycle processes for multiple sites within our organization.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines, including the updating of charge tickets and charge capture systems

• Conduct ongoing reviews of front office processes and implement necessary revisions

• Coordinate and provide training for new front office staff, as well as retraining when necessary

• Serve as a central resource for front office processes, such as intake, insurance verification, copay collection, and charge entry

• Work with offices to ensure compliance with operating procedures

• Conduct audits of front office processes

• Act as a super user of the Practice Management System and interfaced systems

• Ensure the roll-out of System updates to the front-office team

• Chair Revenue Cycle Front Office task teams

Requirements - Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with Management Systems

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience in Auditing

• Knowledge of Billing Functions

• Expertise in Collection Processes

• Familiarity with Compliance regulations

• Experience in Medical Billing

• Understanding of the HealthCare Industry

• Familiarity with HealthCare Revenue Cycle

• Knowledge of Revenue Cycle Processes
