The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center (JHBMC) is seeking a casual Clinical Research Psychologist who will conduct structured psychological diagnostic evaluations for research, provide cognitive behavioral psychotherapy for insomnia and/or behavioral weight loss treatment for study participants, and conduct statistical analysis and manuscript development as needed.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
Clinical Psychologist will see adult research participants in the Behavioral Medicine Research Lab for psychological evaluation and treatment.
Conducts psychological diagnostic evaluation and cognitive behavioral psychotherapy for adults.
Maintains accepted standards of compliance for documentation.
Conducts clinical research and assists with statistical analyses and manuscript development for research conducted in the Behavioral Medicine Research Lab.
Clinical Psychologist will attend research meetings as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology (Ph.D, PsyD, etc.) or MD in Psychiatry required.
Two years related experience.

Special Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Excellent diagnostic, therapeutic, and interpersonal skills.
Outstanding verbal and written communication, and the ability to interact well with research participants and colleagues.
Advanced statistical analysis skills. Reliability, flexibility, professional manner, and organizational skills are essential.
Must have excellent attention to detail and record keeping.
Must be able to problem solve, prioritize responsibilities, and manage several priorities at once.

Role/Level/Range: ACRP/04/MD
Starting Salary Range: Min $26.53 - Max $46.44 HRLY ($75,900 targeted; Commensurate with experience)

Schedule: M-F 8:30am - 5pm
