    Robert Half Legal Permanent Placement is offering an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal in Lexington, MA. This role will focus on real estate transactions, particularly in residential real estate. The Paralegal will be responsible for conducting title searches, preparing closing documents, collaborating with attorneys, and maintaining accurate records. The role also requires proficiency in various software platforms and excellent communication skills.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct thorough title searches, addressing any issues identified promptly and confidentially.

    • Prepare and handle essential closing documents, such as HUD-1 Settlement Statements, closing disclosures, deeds, and mortgages, while maintaining strict confidentiality.

    • Facilitate confidential communication between clients, attorneys, lenders, and real estate agents.

    • Collaborate with attorneys in organizing and scheduling closings, ensuring utmost confidentiality.

    • Maintain accurate and confidential records of all real estate transactions.

    • Draft, review, and redline various real estate legal documents, ensuring complete privacy and accuracy.

    • Uphold high standards of detail-orientation, accuracy, and the highest level of confidentiality in every task undertaken.

    Requirements

    Job Requirements

    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the residential real estate industry.

    • Must have prior experience in managing closing transactions; title or post closings experience alone will not suffice for this position.

    • Demonstrated capacity to handle pipeline closings independently while maintaining confidentiality.

    • Prior experience with MA closing transactions.

    • Solid track record in real estate transactions while observing confidentiality.

    • Outstanding project management skills, with strong writing, negotiating, planning, and organizational skills.

    • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.

    • Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software.

    • Experience with e-recording via platforms like Simplifile and proficiency in e-closing software.

    • Must comply with all company confidentiality and privacy protocols.
