QC PCB Inspector needed for a contract to direct hire role in the Burlington, Massachusetts area for a growing contract manufacturer. This organization deals with local markets and is seeking a motivated professional who is not only knowledgeable within this role, but also a great communicator with a high level of detail. This person will be responsible for supporting production activities and operating SMT equipment as well as writing Inprocess Inspection Reports in a contract manufacturing environment.

The right individual will be adhering to Class 3 specifications for printed circuit boards and be well versed in the inspection with component sizes ranging from the size of a postage stamp to the size of a pen tip.

Ideally this person will have a minimum of three years of related experience, have a current IPC A 610 certification, experience in an AS 9102, ISO 9001 environment, and citizenship status that coincides working on ATAR projects.

Must be an exceptional team player with a high attention to detail, professionally enthusiastic and proven attention to detail.

responsibilities

• Act as cross functional liaison with engineering team and production

• Produce detailed In process Inspection Reports

• Optimize equipment and assist operators in order to meet weekly delivery goals.

• Work with other operations and quality functions to ensure all work orders, specifications and reports are accurate

• Help out generally as part of the team, especially when production deadlines are tight.

• Desired Requirements

• Mechanically minded, practical, comfortable in an electronics contract manufacturing environment

• High attention to detail, enthusiastic

• Experience in AS 9102, ISO 9001 environment

• Must have certification / IPC A 610

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint).

• Proven attention to detail

• Team player with exceptional interpersonal skills.

• Auditing experience is a Plus!
