    Background:

    GDIT has an opening for a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to join our team. This position provides an opportunity to join an expanding team that will continue to develop and expand a system that supports an existing government customer. We work closely with our customer to ensure that we continue to provide the updated services needed as they expand their own offerings to a growing list of other government organizations.

    The selected QA Analyst candidate will work within an established team to build and further advance GDIT software systems and applications. They will work alongside the Program Manager, development, and maintenance teams to create, manage, and report on multiple technology development initiatives.     Key Responsibilities:

    • Analyze machine performance logs and determine improvements to hardware (HW)/software (SW) systems and processes and process improvements

    • Experience with Microsoft Office suite, analyzing data, and presenting data

    • Understand how machines and SW work together

    • Failure mode analysis

    • Ability to work with developers to design and analyze logs

    • Develop plans, coordinate activities, and present data to senior customers

    • Machine design and/or maintenance experience desired

    • Experience communicating directly with customers and strong presentation skills

    Basic Qualifications:

    • 3-5 years' experience

    • The candidate must be a U.S. citizen and successfully complete a Public Trust background investigation.

    Work Location:

    Primary location of work will be at customer site in Washington, DC (3 days a week), with 2 days a week at Company site in Falls Church, VA.

    The likely hourly rate for this position is between $86,331.44 - $116,801.36. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
