    Our client leads the charge in custom-contract manufacturing innovative, efficacious and cosmetically elegant state-of-the-art skin and personal care products!

    Title: QC Inspector

    Location: Livermore, CA

    Pay: $20-21/hr

    Shift: M-F 5am-1:30pm

    6-month contract to hire

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Provide Quality support to Production Lines

    • Check to make sure production line adheres to batch instruction and procedures.

    • Perform and document inspections, checks, and sampling procedures during the production process.

    • Perform line clearance and inspects processing area for removal of all previous products,

    components, and materials.

    • Perform standard inspection of First article, first pallet, and random sampling inspection on finished

    products.

    • Stop production line/shipment if major non-compliance of specifications, standards or quality is found during

    the inspection process.

    • Inspect and verify outgoing shipments for accuracy and completeness.

    • Review and approve labels for production.

    • Monitor all aspects of the manufacturing/packaging operations and reports non-conformances to the

    Supervisor/Manager

    • Perform line checks and AQLs as required by batch record and on the job training.

    • Review Batch documentation to assure accuracy and completeness.

    • Perform follow-up inspection of non-complying products that have been re-worked and corrected. Complete

    deviation forms as required.

    • Maintain QC inspection reports and daily summary logs as required.

    • Collect QC/Retain samples during production, assign retain numbers and retain sample management.

    • Collect customer and lab testing samples during production, identify the samples appropriately.

    • Manage daily temperature monitoring and documentation.

    • Other tasks as assigned.

    Skills/Qualifications:

    • High School education (HS Diploma or GED preferred) and 2 years relevant experience

    • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, rounding)

    • Basic computer skills, including keyboarding/data entry and working knowledge of MS Office (especially

    Word and Excel)

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

    • Ability to maintain a positive, professional, cooperative demeanor.

    • Strong sense of accountability, responsibility, and ownership of projects and tasks
