    Actalent is currently seeking an experienced Facilities Project Engineer with a partner of ours in the pharmaceutical industry. This company is one of the largest pharmaceutical manufacturing companies in Columbus Ohio and is a trusted source of over 750 high-quality generic, specialty and branded pharmaceutical products that hospitals, physicians and pharmacists need to treat their patients across North America, the Middle East, North Africa and Europe. This person will be working on a team of 4 people consisting of one other Facilities Engineer as well as 2 other Engineers.

    Responsibilities include

    • Facilities engineer for the entire plant

    • Will be responsible to plan, design, provide maintenance, continuous improvement, and alteration support for buildings, equipment and other facility systems.

    • Will be working with capital improvement projects up to $2M in budget.

    • Projects include facilities management, building technology, architecture and utilities including plumbing, lighting, fire protection/alarming, grounds and stormwater, elevators, and material handling systems.

    • Performing drawing reviews utilizing AutoCAD or Bluebeam.

    • Working with Warehouse Management Systems and ensuring compliance with building codes throughout the facility.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Engineering or related field within engineering

    • Minimum of 4 years of experience in facility systems in manufacturing environment (preferably in chemical/food/pharma industries)

    • If they don't have degree and have minimum 8 years of relative experience, they could be considered but degree is strongly preferred

    • Needs to be well versed in a manufacturing environment

    • Strong communication skills within cross-functional teams - needs to be able to hear non-technical request and figure out technical verbiage to communicate/carry
