    What will you do?

    • Protect and grow core markets by influencing and supporting sales representatives through collaborative sales planning, joint customer visits, and product training.

    • Develop and maintain effective relationships with existing and potential customers in your territory

    • Access high-growth adjacent markets by prospecting and cold-calling new customers in new markets.

    • Actively build and maintain a sales pipeline to achieve annual operating plan

    • Provide booking and revenue forecasts to ensure revenue attainment.

    • Research competitors and industry activities to partner with cross-functional teams on product marketing activities.

    Education/Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree required in Life Sciences or STEM related

    • 5+ years proven sales experience, preferably in laboratory and/or water products

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

    • Strong prospecting, discovery, sales planning, and territory leadership skills.

    • Excellent interpersonal and rapport-building skills to influence decisions across all levels of an organization.

    • Strong technical competence in product demonstration, seminars, and product training

    • Frequent same-day travels within Massachusetts and ~30%+ overnight travels are required within the assigned territory (New England, NY, NJ, Eastern PA and Delaware)

    • Experience with ~~~ or comparable CRM preferred.
