    As our new Prin. Training & Education Specialist, you will become part of the dynamic Field Training Team responsible for training and educating our Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) field force. Use your subject matter expertise, experience, and passion to train field representatives who bring life-changing devices and therapies to thousands of patients.

    This role is open to remote within the US.

    A Day in the Life

    • Lead the development and continuous improvement of training programs and events for field employees on Medtronic CRM products, therapies, and procedures

    • Collaborate with Sales Leaders, Medical Education, and Marketing to create interactive and purposeful training programs, tailored for both in-person and virtual settings

    • Deliver classroom, lab, or web-based technical product and procedure instruction

    • Develop & maintain digital education content that aligns with field priorities

    • Identify gaps in content and Medtronic technology & therapy and develop and implement programs to address these gaps

    • Partner with field teams to support local education and develop programs and content to meet those needs

    • Engage in continuous learning to be a reliable, trusted resource of accurate, up-to-date knowledge, focusing on adult education curriculum design and delivery methods

    • Navigate the content/document review and approval process, ensuring compliance with industry regulations

    • Maintain project management tracking for program activities relevant to compliance, logistics, budget, and metrics

    • Demonstrate willingness to build and maintain positive relationships with a diverse set of peers and colleagues across organizational levels to include Sales and global business partners

    • Work with global regions to identify needs and help enable localization of education

    • Ability to travel up to approximately 50%

    Must Have:

    • Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of work experience in a training, field sales, sales support, clinical or technical role in the medical device industry (or 5 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree)

    • Experience designing training curriculum to achieve organizational goals and identifying training gaps

    • Experience working with technical content and synthesizing key learnings into training content

    Nice To Have:

    • Experience designing online learning in a variety of modalities including classroom, synchronous and asynchronous, microlearning, and digital job aids

    • Experience working on multiple, simultaneous projects that require both strategic thinking and high-speed tactical execution

    • International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners Certification (IBHRE AP or EP)

    • Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools, and learning principles
