    Job Description

    The Neuroscience and Spine Associates, Lancaster General Health is seeking a full-time PA or CRNP to join its high-end Neuroscience practice. With expertise in conditions such as herniated discs, radiculopathy, cervical and lumbar degenerative disc disease, to procedures such as Kyphoplasty, spinal cord stimulators and trials and shunts Neuroscience and Spine Associates offers a full spectrum of neurological care in one location. As a forward-thinking practice, Neuroscience and Spine Associates offers Neurosurgery, Pain Management, Physical Therapy, EMG, and lab services all in one location. We also support two Ambulatory Surgical Centers on our premises where we do outpatient back surgery and Pain Management procedures. Our providers have access to collaborate with Penn Medicine and The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania Department of Neurosurgery providers and programs. Join a practice of six Neurosurgeons, two Pain Physicians and seven Advanced Practice Providers to care for patients with wide-ranging brain, neck, back and spine concerns by working collaboratively with Pain Management, Physical Therapy and the team at ABBCI. The position is a mix of outpatient and inpatient. This position will allow you to have your own panel of patients when in the clinic, and to work as a first assistant in the OR with one of our amazing surgeons. As a member of our team, you will participate in an on-call rotation to help cover trauma surgeries that come in after hours. We are excited to teach the neurological exam, as well as clinical expertise in diagnosis and management of a wide variety of neurological conditions to interested, motivated candidates.

    Hours: Full-time; Shift/Hours/On-Call discussed during interview

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    Physician Assistant

    • Current licensure as a Physician Assistant by PA Board of Medicine.

    • Graduate of Accredited Physician Assistant training program.

    • Minimum one year experience as a Physician Assistant is preferred.

    Nurse Practitioner

    • Valid Pennsylvania licensure as a Registered Nurse

    • RN First Assistant (RNFA) certification

    • Certification by ANCC or other qualifying agency in area of specialty required.

    • Valid Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner license and Certificate of Prescriptive Authority in Pennsylvania

    • Minimum one year experience as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred
