This position is 32-40 hours per week working with patients within the Center for Development and Learning (CDL).

Responsibilities
· Completing health assessments and documenting
· Triaging patient issues
· Handling emergency situations
· Answering/responding to calls
· Writing prescriptions and orders
· Completing forms for patients
· Be open, understanding, patient, and kind to every person who enters the clinic, regardless of age, sex, race, gender, religion, medical conditions, etc.
Qualifications
Education: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner specialty required.
Completion of a nurse practitioner program approved by the Maryland Board of Nursing required.
License: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license from Maryland and certification as a nurse practitioner required by the State of Maryland.
Must possess board certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from an approved organization by the Maryland State Board of Nursing, including the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board and the American Nurses Credentialing Center
