Job Description

• The Medical Scheduler will handle a high volume of inbound calls each day to schedule medical appointments within a large DC area hospital system.

• The scheduler will manage 50-100 calls each day and will be held to specific performance and quality metrics.

• The scheduler will spend about 90% of their day on the phone scheduling appointments, answering patient questions, and obtaining pre-registration information.

• Will maintain HIPAA compliance.

• Associates must have an optimal level of customer service to provide a quality patient experience.

• Candidates must have experience in patient registration or medical scheduling.

• This is a permanent, direct hire opportunity with benefits!

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Associates will have the opportunity to work a hybrid schedule pending performance and attendance!

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent - Associates Degree Preferred

• Must have 2+ years working as a medical scheduler, patient registration associate, or call center
