Medical Lab Technician - Somerville, MA

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is partnered with a much-respected facility in Somerville, MA who is currently seeking an experienced Medical Lab Technician to assist them on a contractual basis.

Position : Medical Lab Tech (2 positions available)

Location : Somerville, MA

Setting : Point of care lab

Start Date : ASAP

Contract Duration :

• Two options:

o Traveler: 13 weeks with a likelihood of extension

o Local: Ongoing with a temp-to-perm possibility

Schedule :

a. 32 hours/week guaranteed

b. Shifts: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM and/or 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

c. Rotating weekends and holidays

d. Option to pick up additional shifts for a total of 40 hours/week when available

Experience Required : Generalist (Chemistry, Hematology, etc.)

Contract Requirements :

• Generalist

• ASCP certification preferred but not required

• COVID vaccine preferred but not required

Parking : Free on-site; easily accessible via public transit
