Medical Director - Chicago, IL

VCA Lake Shore Animal Hospital in Chicago, Illinois is seeking a highly experienced Veterinarian to lead our talented team as Medical Director .

Our newly renovated AAHA-accredited hospital focuses mainly on preventive care and wellness. The new facility features 7 exam rooms (2 cat rooms, 4 dog rooms, and a comfort room). We also perform soft tissue surgeries and a large amount of dental cleanings with our brand new anesthesia machines and dental delivery units. Services we offer include: digital radiography, digital dental radiography, in-house lab services along with a partnership with a reference laboratory, and an ultrasound for use with trained individuals. There are several emergency clinics nearby for any pets requiring after hours or more critical care.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated veterinarian to continue practicing medicine while establishing the direction and medical quality of the hospital like an owner would, but without the risks of ownership. Plus, you'll have the solid backing of experts in Operations, Marketing, Human Resources, Payroll, and more, to help you succeed.

We are located right outside of downtown Chicago in the West Loop area. We are located on the busy street of Chicago Avenue between Halsted and Ogden.
