    CHI Health has an immediate need to add a part-time Medical Assistant to our Immanuel Family Medicine / Priority Care Clinic located off of 72nd & Sorenson Pkwy!

    Hours: Week 1 Thursday 8a-4p Saturday 8a-8p / Week 2 Sunday 8a-8p Thursday 8a-4p (20 hrs a week)

    Responsibilities

    $2500 Sign On Bonus Offered

    Paid out in FULL after 30 days of employment!

This position will support our healthcare teams by ensuring they have everything they need in order to care for our patients. They also play a huge role in a patient's experience and prep when they visit any of our clinics. We couldn't do it without you!     Expectations:

    • Performs general patient care following established clinic workflows.

    • Performs general patient care following established clinic workflows.

    • Greets and prepares patients for the health care provider by obtaining and recording vital signs, reviewing drug allergies and current medications, completing applicable screening questionnaires and documenting reason for visit.

    • Collects and prepares ordered specimens for laboratory analysis.

    • Prepares and provides ordered medications and/or vaccines to patients.

    • Cleans and sterilizes instruments.

    • Ensures patient exam rooms are stocked, clean, and orderly.

    • Escalates non-routine issues, questions and/or concerns timely and appropriately.

    • Ensures safety checklists and quality controls are completed as required and necessary action taken if indicated.

    • Performs other duties within scope of role as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Graduate of medical assisting program

    • Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/valid

    • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association

    • High school diploma or equivalent

    Pay Range

    $17.04 - $23.43 /hour
