Ideal candidate will have experience with industrial automated equipment, gear reduction, servo and VFD drives, etc. Will be a strong leader but also work as a team player.

Pay Rate

The pay rate for this job is $25 / Hour

What you'll be doing as a Mechanical Designer:

• Customer interaction to help establish machinery requirements and determining automate processes

• Traveling to customer facilities to discuss and understand manufacturing process and concepts

• Design and manage complete machine assemblies while maintaining company design procedures

• Delivering design presentations with both internal and customer teams to ensure all requirements are satisfied

• Tracking design progress of multiple pieces of equipment simultaneously, and ensuring design consistency

• Inventor 3D

• Creation of documentation for the machine build process (Detail prints, Assembly prints, BOM's, Purchased parts list, etc...)

• Interaction and cooperation with other departments. (Machining, Welding, Purchasing, Assembly)

Job requirements

• Minimum 4 years' experience

• High Mechanical Aptitude

• Complex problem solving

• AutoCad, Macros, Visual Basic and Excel skills desirable

• Strong Communication Skills

• Works well under pressure

• Machining and assembly experience

• Background check required
