Description

Product Design is responsible for designing and developing new products and product improvements. They will play a pivotal role in evaluating, analyzing, and making recommendations on products and designs to enhance the competitive position of the company. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, effective communication, strong leadership abilities, and mechanical aptitude in conceptual design.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

-Exceptionally well organized and detail-oriented, with exposure to office and manufacturing environments. -Excellent communicator and leader with a strong customer-focused attitude. -Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling corporate information. -Display mechanical aptitude in conceptual design and discussion of design projects. -Basic working knowledge of SolidWorks 3D CAD designing software. -Knowledge of basic metrology hand tools desired. -Machine Shop or Mechanical Assembly experience highly desired. -Familiarity with basic machine tools: lathes, grinders, mills, presses, EDMs. -Familiarity with basic machine components: levers, linkages, bearings, shafts, springs, screw threads, complex mechanisms.
