    The Master Scheduler is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of scheduling within the program, ensuring alignment with customer strategic objectives, resource availability, and production demands. This role requires expertise in project management, resource planning, and scheduling techniques. The Master Scheduler collaborates closely with Project Leads to develop and maintain an integrated master schedule that optimizes resource utilization and minimizes bottlenecks.

    Candidate for this role should possess a combination of strategic vision, technical expertise, and leadership skills to drive scheduling excellence and contribute to program success.

    • Develop and maintain an integrated master schedule that encompasses all projects and operational activities across the program.

    • Collaborate with project managers, functional area leads, and customer stakeholders to gather schedule requirements, dependencies, and constraints. Analyze project plans, resource allocations, and production schedules to identify potential conflicts or risks.

    • Implement scheduling best practices, standards, and tools to optimize resource utilization and mitigate scheduling conflicts.

    • Monitor schedule performance metrics, such as critical path analysis and schedule variance, and provide regular reports to management.

    • Facilitate schedule review meetings to communicate status updates, resolve conflicts, and adjust schedules as needed.

    • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to scheduling activities for audit and reporting purposes.

    • Conduct scenario analysis and what-if simulations to evaluate the impact of schedule changes and identify alternative solutions.

    • Provide support during emergencies or contingencies by adjusting schedules and reallocating resources as needed.

    • Collaborate with procurement, inventory management, and supply chain teams to align production schedules with material availability and demand forecasts. Lead the development and implementation of scheduling software, tools, and systems to enhance scheduling capabilities and efficiency.

    • Provide guidance, training, and support to project teams and stakeholders on scheduling processes, tools, and methodologies.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, project management, or related field.

    • Must possess or be able to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

    • 5+ years of proven experience as a master scheduler, project scheduler, or similar role in a complex organizational environment.

    • Expertise in project management methodologies, scheduling techniques, and scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Project).

    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in analyzing schedules, identifying critical paths, and resolving scheduling conflicts.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

    • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and presentation tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint).

    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to scheduling, such as the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and ANSI/EIA-748.

    These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have

    • Advanced degree in business administration, engineering, project management, or related field.

    • Certification in project management (e.g., Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)) is highly desirable.

    • Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence and motivate teams to achieve scheduling objectives.

    • Understanding of risk management principles and their application to scheduling activities.

    • Knowledge of defense systems, military operations, and related regulations and standards.

    $71,500 - $150,200
