Job Description
We are seeking a motivated business systems analyst to assist BAE Systems manufacturing functions in communicating their information technology needs and wants. In this role, you will be responsible for documenting and translating business requirements into functional actions for IT, escalating business impacts of IT changes as they relate to the manufacturing process, and facilitating continuous improvement concepts throughout the manufacturing function.
Work with manufacturing stakeholders to identify business system improvements and enhancements
Initial IT troubleshooting on critical manufacturing and test systems prior to submitting signals to IT
Analyze and document system requirements and data
Create and maintain relationships with manufacturing and test engineers, obtaining knowledge regarding manufacturing and test systems
Collaborate with our IT organization to ensure project deliverables are met on time and accurately
Ensure compliance with standards and best practices
Collaborating with the IT organization to create and maintain documentation and training materials that support manufacturing business systems
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Proven experience as a business/systems analyst, or IT-facing systems analystCompTIA Security , Project Management certifications preferred
Previous experience with Microwave, Surface Mount Technology operational technology
Previous experience in working in a manufacturing environment
Active security clearance
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $92290 - $156860
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
