The J&J Innovative Medicine team is recruiting for a Manager of Global Forecasting and Analytics.

    This position will support and report to the Director of Global Commercial Insights and Analytics, Immunology. Primary responsibilities include developing compound and portfolio forecasts for the Disease Areas within Immunology. This includes forecasting early pipeline compounds through late stage/marketed products and involves close collaboration with: Commercial Marketing, R&D, Finance, Market Access and Global Analytics colleagues. This role uses secondary data sources, market research insights, real world evidence platforms and competitive intelligence to generate forecast assumptions and shape strategic commercial decisions in support of Immunology product development.

This individual will work on projects across therapeutic areas and have a broad view of the strategic asset and the potential for growth.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Deliver forecasts, perform sensitivity analysis and develop presentations to support commercial assessment of Early and Late-stage assets.

    • Develop/maintain/update current forecast models to inform long-range planning and strategic decisions.

    • Facilitate discussions to formulate key assumptions, articulate and frame insights, risks and opportunities.

    • Ensure rigor in key forecast assumptions by partnering with and incorporating Competitive Intelligence and Market Research.

    • Ensure alignment with Global and Regional stakeholders. For late-stage assets, align with regional partners on key assumptions and valuations.

    • Conduct data analytics for new pipeline and business development opportunities, which may include sales, claims, and other data analyses.

    • Assessing disease populations, identifying targets, sizing markets.

    Qualifications

    • A Bachelor's degree is required.

    • A minimum of 4 years of demonstrated healthcare industry experience is required.

    • Experience in business analytics, forecasting and/or other analytical areas is required.

    • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and other analytical tools (Tableau, SAS, SPSS, etc.) is required.

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required, along with demonstrated presentation skills.

    • An understanding of the product development process (pre-clinical to launch) is preferred.

    • A passion for detail as well as analysis of data from high-level view with the skills to look at the "total picture".

    • Sound discernment, and ability to validate business assumptions, discuss business and marketing strategies with commercial leads is preferred.

    • Curiosity and growth mindset to learn and build/improve skill sets.

    This position is primarily based in Horsham, PA and will require up to 10% travel.
