Machine Operator

Aerotek is immediately hiring a Machine Operator for a Industrial manufacturing company in Upper Chichester, PA. We are seeking candidates with prior Metal Fabrication/ or CNC Machinist experience

Job Description:

• Operate machinery as per the operating instructions and ensure efficient production processes.

• Perform machine setups (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle.

• Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed) to meet quality and efficiency standards.

• Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines and ensure continuous supply without interruptions.

• Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

• Test the operation of machines periodically to guarantee their smooth running.

• Maintain activity logs and report on daily production volumes and quality.

• Troubleshoot problems during machine operation and perform basic repairs and maintenance when necessary.

• Have working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer, tape measure etc.) and the ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.

Qualifications:

• Candidates must possess at least one year of experience in a Machine Shop.

• Ability to read a tape measure

• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in a fabrication machine shop

• High School diploma or equivalent GED.

Shift/Pay/Work Environment

• 2nd and 3rd shifts Monday-Friday 1:30PM-10pm, Sunday-Thursday 9:30pm-6:00AM

• $24-28 per hour
