    Your Role on Our Team:

    The Machine Operator is responsible for performing basic machine operation, working with computer-controlled equipment or mechanical based machines to make sure they are set up properly, working well and producing quality products.

    You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

    • Basic understanding of motor components and functions (40%)

    • Load/unload/inspect components to Operational Method Sheets (OMS) by use of proper gauging equipment in a safe and efficient manner (30%)

    • Make adjustments as required for change overs (30%)

    • Identify, troubleshoot and correct minor machine time outs (20%)

    • Setup/Operate 1 up/down workstations (20%)

    • Perform monthly PM requirements (10%)

    • Inform team leader about processes or equipment requiring attention (10%)

    • Complete rework and scrap documentation as required or requested (10%)

    • Package service parts (10%)

    • Participate in completion of continuous improvement projects specifically designed to improve processes, productivity and quality, especially those related to corrective actions (10%)

    • Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area (10%)

    • Practice 5Ss (10%)

    The TOOLS you'll bring with you:

    • Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents, drawings, and blueprints

    • Basic machine trouble-shooting skills

    • High school diploma or equivalent
