    Description:

    This position assembles, maintains, tests, and repairs electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components for automated equipment

    Build Sub-Assemblies and assemble machines with assistance using documentation such as SolidWorks models of Mechanical Parts and Assembly Drawings, Pneumatic Diagrams, and/or Electrical Schematics.

    Assist in machine Power up, verify I/O and basic functionality.

    Assist team members to debug machines, correct problems, and verify appropriate functionality.

    Assist in the testing and tear down (shipping prep) of packaging machinery.

    Collaborate with team members to create and update project documentation.

    Basic part fabrication and modification.

    Verify fit and function of parts as well as completion and function of assemblies.

    Use of equipment such as: hand and power tools, precision measuring tools, grinding/sanding/polishing tools, lathes, mills, hydraulic press, drill press, and fork trucks.

    Maintain safe and organized work area.

    Inspect own work.

    Support to continually improve work processes.

    Clear communication and teamwork with peers.

    Support and promote company values through words, actions, and gestures.

    Minimal direct customer interactions.

    May be asked to travel to customer sites to support equipment installations or other company needs.

    All other duties as assigned.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    2 year technical degree or equivalent training preferred.

    1 to 2 years of custom mechanical assembly experience.

    Experience with E-Drawings is preferred

    Exposure to automation including mechanical, electrical, controls, pneumatic, and robotic systems is a bonus
